We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance team this summer as an Exterior Building Caretaker. This hands-on role is key to keeping our buildings, grounds, and guest spaces looking their best while supporting day-to-day operations and special events. No two days are the same, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a collaborative, hardworking team.

Responsibilities:

• · Ensure all decks are kept clean, safe, and presentable removing all debris, dirt, and grime.

• Clean exterior railings and windows, maintain a polished and welcoming appearance.

• Keep all stairs and landings free of dirt, debris, and hazards to ensure safety and a high standard.

• Wipe Down Patio Furniture and check and tighten all screws or fittings to ensure safety and longevity of outdoor furnishings. Ensuring to also clean under and behind patio furniture.

• Clean exterior light fixtures and replace Burnt-Out Bulbs: Maintain proper lighting for safety and aesthetic purposes, inspecting fixtures and performing minor repairs as needed.

• Assist in cleaning and preparing outdoor wedding site before and after events.

• Clean Firepits, removing ash, debris, and other materials.

• Keep exterior logs free from dust and dirt.

• Assist with grounds upkeep, maintain outdoor spaces, including yard work, waste management, monitoring guest parking areas, and assisting with wildlife control when necessary.

• Provide support to the Maintenance team with various tasks and duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong work ethic with attention to detail

• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) or more

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Valid BC driver’s license with a safe driving record

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

• Handy, resourceful, and willing to learn new skills

• Experience with general maintenance, landscaping, or exterior building care is an asset

• Class 4 driver’s license is considered an asset
