Job description:

• Able to follow specific cooking procedures, pastry and baking methods or instructions as set by senior kitchen staff

• Prepare ingredients for food service, including basic prep, portioning, and setup

• Assist in cooking and assembling dishes with consistency and attention to detail

• Support the team during service to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout the shift

• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met

• Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and productive kitchen environment

• Perform physically demanding tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• A background in the culinary field combined with interest in growing as a chef.

• Knowledge of culinary terminology, techniques and execution is an asset

• Reliable, organized, and proactive with a strong work ethic

• Culinary school diploma or trade certificate an asset

• Food safe certificate is an Asset
