Job description:

• Employment for our Summer season (Jun - Sep) with the opportunity for continued employment in our Winter season!
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation, starting with the ingredients and ending with the finished dish.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Follow specific cooking procedures or instructions.
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment.
• Ensure quality of ingredients, proper food handling and food storage procedures.
• Enjoy being creative and willing to learn new techniques.
• Work in compliance with culinary plan as well as company policies and standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Experience in the culinary field
• Great attitude towards learning and growing as a chef.
• Must be reliable, organized and show initiative.
• Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a positive way.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent is an asset.
• Food safe certificate is an asset.
